Publishing The Funambulist
Please join Dark Opacities Lab as we welcome Léopold Lambert, founder and editor-in-chief of The Funambulist, a magazine on the Politics of Space and Bodies. Lambert will reflect on 10 years of publishing a magazine that has become an incredibly rich resource for scholars, architects, journalists, organizers, artists, and writers from across the globe both intellectually and pedagogically.
Léopold Lambert is a trained architect living in Paris. He is the editor-in-chief of The Funambulist, a print and online bilingual magazine dedicated to the politics of space and bodies, as well as the cultivation of internationalist solidarities between anticolonial, antiracist, queer, and feminist struggles. He is also the author of four books analyzing the role played by architecture in settler colonialism, in particular in Palestine, Algeria, and Kanaky.
