For our second theme, we will center the theme “No Pigs in Paradise” a phrasing by artists Nep Sidhu and Nicholas Galanin that reflects an anti-police, anti-carceral, abolitionist framework.
In centering forms of community defense, Dark Opacities Lab very much hopes to bring Sidhu and Galanin to Montréal, along with folks at Interference Archive, Detention Watch Network, Justseeds, and a number of others.
